Storytime!

So I like roleplaying games a lot and it has been a hobby of mine ever since I was ten years old. It has really helped med develop my storytelling skills, my imagination and creativity. As for today I wrote a little piece from a story we played thorugh in the game called "Exalted". Thank you White Wolf for this magnificent world with endless possibileties.

This is The Fall of Daikiba Moro:

Daikiba Moro, son of General Daikiba, was once a noble samurai of great power. He, like his friend Xenon, weilded the powers of the Sun-God and they both used it to repel the forces of Evil that threatened the World.

Moro and Xenon's bond of friendship was put to the test when Xenon fell in love with Moro's nemesis: Tepet Lisara, a female commander renowned for her looks as well as her skills in combat and military tactics. Lisara belonged to a house that hated the one's that used the Sun-God's powers and hunted them.

After Moro, Xenon, Smiling Tempest and Avatar of the Burning Sun (more on the last two later) had captured Lisara, Moro suggested that they would cut the arm of their prisoner so that she couldn't swing her enormous blade anymore. Xenon was frightened by his friend's suggestion, so during the following night he freed Lisara and they eloped together.

Finally, after Moro found Xenon and Lisara, he whent mad with grief and hate, seeing his dearest friend with the woman who had humilated and almost killed him several times. This twisted the mind of Moro to the point that he destroyed an entire city with a magical weapon of mass-destruction to kill both Lisara, Xenon and himself.

Xenon escaped the blast carrying the unconscious Lisara, only to have Moro follow them. Outside the burning ruins of the city, to the sounds of a raging storm and arcs of lightning traveling across the sky, Moro and Xenon fought. Finally Xenon managed to run moro through with his greatsword. He then took Moro's katana and left him to bleed to death. But Moro didn't die.

Lying in the mud with his spirit broken, a sinister voice whispered to Moro that he would be granted revenge and power beyond imagination if only he swore to serve the The Creature of Darkness. Blinded by hate, grief, pain and betrayal, Moro accepted the demons offer and emraced it's powers.

And so Moro fell into the corrupted embrace of The Creature of Darkness. Using both the powers of the Sun-God and the demon's, he has become a warped form of his former self, powerfull beyond comprehension. Within him burns only hatred and a lust for revenge. And loyalty to his new master.

Åh vad jag älskar det engelska språket... Och jag borde skriva mer, det var riktigt kul! Detta är berättelsen om samurajen i det förra inlägget.
